Re: (meteorobs) meteor colors

One last question for the "meteor colors" thread: it would seem that by
correlating multiple observers' data, and correcting for individuals' differing
color perceptions (like George's greens vs. Bob's blues) based on some color bar
experiments, some conclusions COULD be reached about meteor color perceptions.
For those invaluable meteors with BOTH visual and trajectory (either radar or
two-station) information, cross-reference colors with observer-meteor distances
as well, and you'd have the basis for an honest to gosh research paper!

I'm surprised in the long history of meteorics that no one has done this... ?

Or have they, but the results were inconclusive?

Clear skies,
Lew
