Two reports: from Zwolle and Assen (towns in the Northern provinces of The
Netherlands).
More reports are expected.
This is the report of the eye-witness at Zwolle (name and address known to us):
Date and time of appearance: October 17, 1996, 11.35 UTC
Altitude of appearance : 30 degrees
Direction of appearance: due North
Length of the meteor: about 8 degrees
Direction of the meteor: 80 degrees to the horizon (see draught below).
