Maybe I'm confusing another Olympus camera that was an SLR during that time
period?  The camera used standard 35mm film, but everything else was smaller
than the standard SLR's.  I wished I had it now...for astronomy purposes due
to it's light weight...but for regular photography, I hated it.  I have two
35mm pentax's that I use for astronomy.  I normally use only one and keep the
other available for color film if need be, for such things as possible comets
etc. I did have three camera's but I gave one to my oldest daughter for her
first serious camera last year.
