This is certainly a possibility Norman, but I could not provide an
explanation for ground sound either, since I am surrounded by 125,000+ acres
of trees and the Atlantic Ocean. As George Z. mentioned, this might be one
of those paradoxes...I'll just list the sound as "possible," describe it as
I heard it, and let the folks at FIDAC figure it out.

If the weather holds (currently clear) I'll resume observing tonight.
