The additional annotated information you mention causes me no problem at
all. My only suggestion is to add a note to the report explaining any
additional data you are providing if it might cause anyone some confusion. I
will leave it exactly as I receive it, but may email an observer for
clarification. (see below)

Related to this and something I should go ahead and let everyone know, is
how I "change" people's reports. Basically, this is not done. What I try to
do is make all NAMN reports match as close as possible to what the IMO
requests. Utilizing the electronic NAMN report forms makes this almost
automatic. This is done to make Rainer's job a little easier when he
receives the reports from me. I become swamped with reports during our
observing campaigns, and this from N. America only. I can only imagine
Rainer's workload receiving worldwide reports! This same report form is
compatable with ALPO archiving requirements, so one form takes care of three
meteor groups, something which has not always been possible in the past.

But almost all of the reports I receive are in good shape and require very
little "editing." But again, if this needs to be done, the observer is
contacted first. This also allows me a chance to see if the observer needs
any additional information on how to obtain the required data in the future.
In no way will I adjust the actual data.

If anyone has any questions or comments on NAMN archiving, feel free to let
me know.
