Good point Trond. We should also be out observing as long as possible
for several days each side of the maximum. To quote a time of maximum
for the Geminids is somewhat moot. Your highest rates will occur near
1am local time on the mornings of the 12/13 and 13/14 regardless of
where you are located.  I expect similar rates on both mornings,
hopefully near 100/hour!
