Hello all,
I think that it goes without saying that all of us are diminished by
the loss of this great man, whom many of us looked forward to seeing
this summer in Las Cruces. Though I did not know Clyde well, I was
impressed with his wisdom and touched by his charm. It was as
impossible to dislike him as it was to forget his contributions to
astronomy. With the passing of the last living man to discover a planet
, an era in the history of mankind has ended.
