(meteorobs) Interesting reading...
Guys -
Interesting article in the January 27th issue of The New Yorker - the one with
the ogling snowman on the cover...
It's an 11-page article entitled "Is This The End?" by Timothy Ferris, and is on
earth impacts - mainly comets, but a lot on meteorites as well.
It starts with an interesting scenario with Brian Marsden and Paul Chodas, and
goes on from there.... Although it probably doesn't contain any facts that
well-read comet or meteor enthusiasts are not aware of, it is well-written, and
an excellent read....
