Hi everybody,

First I would like to thanks George, Robert and Rainer for providing me
info about the centaurids. I will visually observe this showers as soon as
weather permits me to see stars instead of clouds. :-( and make some
countings as I think I trained myself to do that for a year or so.

Next week I will manage to send my subscription fee to the IMO and order
the IMO handbook so that I can train myself with plotting for the next
showers.

I will also try to train some people in my local astro society about meteor
counts, lim mag estimation ... to make of small groups of visual observers
in New-Caledonia and may be radio observers too as we have two ham radio in
our society (including my father FK8GF) and they may use their installation
or build their own to do so.

Be sure I will post any valuable observation on the list (and of course I
will try to make valuable reports to the IMO) in the near future.

Clear and 6+ lim mag skies
