I belong to a list about woodworking and we get on irc quite a bit.
It seems to me that the way that they do it is to all go to the same kind of
link-up (if that is the correct word) I.E. Efnet or Dalnet or whatever.
Whenever someone opens a chapter with the word "meteorobs" the channel is
created. I will check with the list owner of the wood forum to see how it is
done for sure. I will post the results to the list!
