RE: (meteorobs) Xi Bootid Radiant
Unfortunetly, most of the Xi Bootid meteors that I saw at the WSP in Florida
were not plotted, as I was planning on doing mostly deep-sky observing. When I
saw so many meteors coming from somewhere in Bootes, I decided to at least do
a watch for the radiant. After several meteors, the radiant became clear. They
were of medium speed, and typically were faint, with an average magnitude of
about 3.2. Is there any historical record of such a radiant? Anyway, there is
no doubt in my mind (26 meteors!).
