Theoretically, yes, a 6" should be able to bring it in.
But the most important factors are the quality of your
finder charts, your own patience and experience, and
MOST important of all the darkness of the sky you are
trying to find it in...
Don't expect to spot a 10th mag fuzzy in your 6" from
your backyard, at least not without first going through
a great deal of frustration.
Still, it's always worth a try, if the Astronomy finder
charts are detailed enough for you to be sure of the
comet's position against the background stars...
