Just watched the Shuttle Re-entry at 08:17:46 from my usually viewer unfriendly spot in the backyard.  Magnitude -3 with ionized wake northwest horizon to southeast horizon.  Sonic boom heard 3 minutes afterwards, that set off a car alarm around  the block.  This is truly a spectacular sight.  


For the unknowing, I suppose there will be numerous reports that a "killer" comet/asteroid/meteor was seen flying over the Houston area.  Watch your tabloids..............
