"Guess Who" (whose first name I can't recall) asked:

>exactly when in March will the comet be "high enough" in the evening sky to do
worthwhile public observing
sessions? What exactly is "high enough"? I'm not sure - I guess at least 20
degrees up at the end of astronomical twilight?

Take a look at page 41 of the March Sky & Tel. If you want some simple charts,
they show Hale-Bopp in the morning sky, and in the evening sky, with various
observer latitudes, showing altitude of the comet.
