Does anyone have information on the light spectra of comet Hale-Bopp. I expect that most of the light we see from HB is reflected sun light. However, there should be some adsorption characteristics. Perhaps there are some emission lines also if UV or other radiation is exciting the comet material enough. Anyway, -- thought I'd ask. Clear Eyes Steve
