(meteorobs) Bopp around the clock...

Guys -

Thought those of you who haven't been able to see the comet lately might enjoy this posting from our RASC
list ;) .... some people get it almost all night!!

We have delightful weather up here today - blowing snow, snow drifts, got another 5 inches or so last
night.... I think it must be that 'flapping boy' sending lousy weather up here - so stop waving your arms
around!! ;)

I have <hope> for tomorrow morning... we are supposed to get a brief respite before more snow Sunday.
Gee, when is spring.. can I take off my parka yet??

RE:	RASC List: Comet

Good frosty morning to you all:

With H/B now at Dec 37 06, it is now almost circumpolar for my latitude.
Last night I saw it 3 times, first low in the NNW at 730pm. Very nice, sort
of yellowish in the late, late twilight. Then, since I was still up at 2am I
saw it rise just barely above the far NNE horizon.. then again at 6am when
it stood like a flaming sword high in the NE. Two distinct tails in binocs.
Nice.

Good observing, and warm regards to all Lamplighter
