(meteorobs) Xi-Bootids and greetings
Hello, people
This weekend, nights of 7 and 8 of March (Friday and Saturday) I
went out for observing meteors (of course I also took a look at Hale-
Bopp.
Unfortunately I did not see any meteor from a possible Xi-Bootids
radiant in any of both nights. This is only from visual observation.
I have not checked my negatives yet, but I think that it won t give
something new.
I pointed my 50mm. camera between Leo and Arcturus in order to
cover Virginid and the suspected Xi-Bootids radiant. I pointed there
also in order to cath not too long meteors and make the better
possible estimation of their origin.
That s my first communication here, and I think I have been told
to say something about me something about me.
I am writing from Europe. More precisely Spain. I used to live in
Mallorca, and I observed from the Astronomical Observatory of
Mallorca (OAM), but now I am studying physics in Barcelona.
I belong to the Spanish Meteor Society, and I am interested about
meteor observations, though my true fashion is for cosmology.
Well, have nice stars and care about the black holes.
