There was a poster paper at the Smolnice IMC by Japanese observers on
the IRAS-Araki-Alcockids for want of a better name. From memory I think
that their observations indicate a later activity period. Telescopic
data suggest a peak around May 28. The shower is rich in fast, faint
meteors so members could easily be missed.
Excuse me for not writing about H-B (apart from Trond). The nights
have been cloudy or foggy here since I got back from La Palma, except
for one morning I missed when the cloud departed in the small hours.
At least H-B has been circumpolar since the weekend.
