        No, I don't measure my own spectra, although I can identify many of
the spectral lines.  The analysis of a spectrum is simply not just measuring
the lines and identifying the features.  There is much more to it than that
and this requires special equipment like microdensiometers etc.  You should
also have a complete understanding of the physics regarding the formation of
the lines and energy levels necessary to produce them etc.  I don't have the
educational background to even begin understanding this.  I'm just a
technician that tries to secure spectra that are turned over to professional
experts for study.  My early spectra were sent to Dr. Peter Millman at NRCC
for study.  The meteor programs at NRC Springhill Meteor Observatory have
terminated because of funding cutbacks.  I am now sending any spectra I get
to Dr. Jiri Borovicka at Ondrejov Observatory in the Czech Republic for
study.  The team at Ondrejov specialize in meteor spectra studies especially
spectra of fireballs.  You can see some of the spectra and descriptions of
my setups published in, METEOR NEWS edited by Wanda Simmons, Florida.  Some
