Hi all,
Yes, I agree wholeheartedly.  In fact, I'm in desperate need of lighting
info to battle the Board of Supervisors here in San Francisco, who are
planning to use metal halide lights in two sections of our city, starting
in 1998.  These lights are by far the worst, since they are
multi-spectral, making spectroscopy & most other types of observations
nearly impossible.  Are there any web sites that talk about making
existing lighting more efficient?  Thanx.
