If you're still interested in the field, then whatever you do don't
unsubscribe! If everyone who felt a little dumb sometimes were to leave
'meteorobs', there'd only be ONE PERSON left on the list, emailing to
himself - and it wouldn't be me! ;>

I sure understand your frustration about getting out to observe, though: I
live in Medford, MA (close to Boston), and I basically have to plan my
whole life around those rare clear, free, moonless nights we get up here...
At least Mechanicsville sounds like it's not TOO overrun with MegaMalls and
8 lane highways! :)

Anyway, keep listening, and any time you have questions about the
discussion, feel free to email one of us privately, or be brave and post a
question to the list! In fact, there are a lot of new subscribers on the
list, so maybe you can re-ask some of the dumb questions I was asking last
year at this time, and help get EVERYONE informed!

By the way, is there anyone in your local observing group who is interested
in meteors besides you? Also, have you visited the Web site of the North
American Meteor Network, or talked with Mark Davis, the founder. He can
give you a whole ton of useful info, specially designed for people who are
just developing an interest.

Mean time, clear skies!
