(meteorobs) eta Aquarids May 4
Update for May 4
Please note that shower codes omitted from my previous mail should read:
ETA=eta Aquarids
CAP=May Capricornids (three separate radiants)
SCO=alpha Scorpids
SPO=sporadics
Last night we did our southern Messier Marathon (May turns out better for us
than March, though there are still a few objects too far north to observe),
and managed two hours of meteor observation in between, and about 8 photos
of Hale-Bopp.
At last the eta Aquarids got into double figures, in what has been a very
weak show this year so far.
