ANNOUNCEMENT: Aug. 28, 1997. Tour of Kyoto University Mu Radar Site and
Meeting on Professional-Amateur Cooperation in Meteor Astronomy
The following excursion and meeting has been organized in conjunction with
the IAU GA in Kyoto. For information on this excursion and meeting contact
one of the organizers (email at bottom of announcement). Hopefully a number
of members of Commission 22, and other interested meteor researchers and
observers, will be able to attend this very interesting day.
Note that the meeting to discuss professional-amateur cooperation in meteor
astronomy is an open one, and is not restricted to members of the
Commission 22 Working Group on this topic. We hope that this will be an
opportunity to revitalize the activity of the Commission 22 Working Group
on Professional-Amateur Cooperation in Meteor Astronomy, as well as share
information on recent activities by various groups.
