(meteorobs) Possible Bright Fireball..Penn.
Another possible bright fireball sighting posted on aol this afternoon.

Picture this, Im was wide awake in bed this morning. Mostly pondering the
days work ahead of me. When suddendly white light fills the bedroom
and hallway from the nearby windows. So I wait from the clap of thunder to
follow... 10 seconds, 20 seconds, 30 seconds.. nothing by the din of the
traffic from nearby Interstae 81. A stroke of lighting this bright and
no thunder ? I rolled out of bed to look at the sky , a beautiful dark
star fill morning ! The clock is indicationg that it's 3:05 am Monday May 5.
Pondering that it could have been a light from a passing car, but I did
not hear one from the open window. What about a plane or jet ? Yet I
would have heard the sound of one. So it must have been a great Fireball
exploding over head it the sky. Like anyone is going to believe that.
That would have been the end of this story , except 6 hours later I
discovered one of my co worker actually saw the Fireball from her
kitchen window. It seems she also had difficultl sleeping and was sitting
in here kitchen table as the Fireball, traveling West , exploded
into a bright ball of light and had a small train afterwards.
My location is near Scranton, Pa, my co worker is in Naticoke , some 35
miles to my South.
How about it anyone else see this ?
