(meteorobs) Meteor Elevation Estimates
About a year ago, I mentioned here that I thought it was important for
meteor observers to estimate meteor elevation when counting meteors to help
deltermine the absolute magnitude of meteors. Someone mentioned that this
information is available on plots, but that in may be a good idea and that
was the last I heard about it.
I think that meteor observers should estimate the elevation of meteors
during a meteor count as it is relatively easy, and provides valuable data
on the absolute magnitude of meteors seen.
