If such added data (i.e. meteor elevation) could eventually be used in
purposeful useful analyses, then of course it should be recorded... to
be sure, when just learning the formal meteor observing process, it can be
alittle overwhelming. Howvever, it'sjust like learning any other complex
task... break it down, start with the basics, get comfortable with that and
then progress to the stage of complexity (if one chooses so)... That way we
can become expert observers like Bob or Norman.
