(meteorobs) Xi Draconids?

I observed last night...June 11/12, 1997 with Lunsford at my observing site
in Descanso. Under clear skies and an approximate Mean LM of 6.0. My center
of view was within 15 to 30 degrees of Draco's head for the 5 observed
hours. I plotted a total of 33 meteors. I was intently looking for any sign
of a possible Xi Draconid radiant. I was able to record 5 meteors that had
all the proper characteristics belonging to a radiant at the coordinates of:
RA 287 degrees, Dec +53.5 degrees. I saw at least two more that aligned with
this radiant, but were disqualified due to being too fast or too long in
relation to it's proximity to the radiant. The thought of these meteors might
be the June Lyrids has occurred to me...but if they were, the June Lyrid
coordinates must have been wrong to begin with. I hope to observe again
tonight to see what else materilizes.
