(meteorobs) Did you know...........

Did you know one of the most celebrated fireballs of modern times turns
25 this month. It was the afternoon of August 25, 1972. The spectacular
bolide streaked across Rocky Mts. skies for 1,500 kilometers. This year
it should come no closer than 8 to 10 million kilometers and
unobservable at mag. 24!
