   It seems that the rumors about microfossils in the Murchison meteorite
are true after all. Recently, at the SPIE conference in San Diego this past
week, Richard Hoover of the NASA/MSFC presented a paper claiming he found
possible microfossils in the Murchison meteorite (CM2 carbonaceoue chondrite).
If this is true, it means that life may predate the formation of the Solar
System, and that Earth life may have come from the stars.
