Hi Kim,

The GRALE code you mention is the IMO Observer Code and is an abbreviation
for GRAmer, LEw.

I haven't had a chance to go through all of the reports yet so am not sure
whose you are talking about, but normally the rates listed are actual
counts. I saw where Rainer Arly of IMO posted a circular containing some
ZHR's which were calculated from several folks' reports.
