(meteorobs) Light Problems

Hi, Conrad:

Maybe not, but we have street lights here, in suburbia, too. I live in
the growing community of Springfield, Georgia (about 30 miles north of
Savannah) and it's very hard to find a dark, public area to observe
from. Most of the dark spots are along the highway (when cars stay
away), but are covered by forest. The same problem exists for areas off
the beaten path. I use to throw star parties for members of a deceased,
local BBS a couple of years ago, and finding a good spot was always
difficult.
