(meteorobs) Sept 1 Observations

-- [ From: Robert Lunsford * EMC.Ver #2.5.3 ] --

I observed with George form the Descanso Observatory. I counted a total
of 36 meteors during the 4 hour watch. The Alpha Aurigids were weak
producing only 8 meteors. Plotting revealed a radiant (6 meteors) near
the star Delta Persei indicating possible early September Perseid or
Delta Aurigid activity. It was clear all the way to the coast and
skyglow was evident in the entire western half of the sky. Resulting LM
estimates were crummy with 6.37 being the best while Andromeda was high
overhead. All other estimates were much lower.
