From the IMO Working list revision, when the SOR's were dropped:

(-) sigma-Orionids (SOR): This radiant was not mentioned by Kronk in 1988 
and
Jenniskens in 1994.  The activity profile of 174 IMO observations shows
maximum ZHR's of 2.0 +or- 0.6 with large variations from day to day.

Wayne comments: At this low rate,the danger of sporadic pollution is quite 
high...so it's very hard to tell. I don't believe I saw any last year when 
I looked, but that's as far back as my "experience" goes :-)
