Although receiving that spam is very annoying here, it really has not been
difficult to tell when it is coming for me. I use Eudora Lite, version
1.5.2. Postings from this reflector arrive with (meteorobs) as the first
thing in my subject lines. Spam that comes through the main server of the
reflector DOES NOT, because it was apparently somehow routed through the
main server's address lists rather than being a direct posting to meteorobs.

If you are using Netscape Navigator 4.0 to receive your mail, you can set a
filter that will filter out anything you want to list in the subject line,
and even specific senders. I don't use Netscape's mailer so I have not tried it.

But you are right, George; we should all be sure to say something
astronomical in our subject lines.
