have talked to several people in El Paso. One was in his garage with the door
down when the sonic boom hit. He thought someone had run into the door.
Others had said their car alarms went off.
"The object's infrasonic signature was equivalent to the explosive yield of
about 500 tons of TNT," ReVelle said. "That means the object was somewhere
around one half to three-quarters of a meter in diameter."
Now that was one big sonic boom.
