I also gave it a try in the last two nights. On October 21/22 we had
especially clear skies, so that I finished with an lm of 5.6 even
though I looked almost directly at the moon, situated just between the
ORI and EGE radiants. I counted 19 meteors (12 ORI/2 EGE/5 SPO) between
1:55 and 3:45 UT (1.7h teff), giving a reasonable ORI ZHR between 20 and
30.
Last night we had some fog (lm 5.5 mag) here. I saw 22 meteors (13 ORI/1
EGE/8 SPO) between 1:55 and 4:00 UT (2.1h teff) resulting in a slightly
lower ORI ZHR (~20).
