(meteorobs) Leonids Radio Meteors

Will K. wrote regarding radio Leonids:

>>>The Overdense events have been numerous and awesome in their variety.
Most
noticeable are the occasions when two or three loud transmitter outputs
are mixed together for many seconds. This is frustating, for one knows
that several weak underlying events are being over written and lost to
tabulation. There were periods when this condition was almost
continuous.<<<

Will and everyone,

Radio-wise, it was exciting wasn't it?

I was able to radio monitor and audio tape November 17th and also
experienced a strong radio shower. I was working two separate
radios/antenna directions at 89.5 MHz and 91.9 MHz and received many
continuous minutes of multiple transmitters. Indeed, you can get a sense of
earth's passage through the "meteor ribbons" and "debris belts"
Radio reception was very good and ionospheric conditions seem more
condusive to radio meteor work now than in summer months.
