Hello Brent,
Below is a messsage which was posted to the meteorite list last weekend,
shortly after the event you witnessed.  It did not take very long for the
word to get out to the meteor and meteorite community that this was a
re-entry, after which we have not focused on it any further.  The AMS staff
is currently investigating a bona fide meteor fireball which occured over
the New England area the following Monday.

I'm sure that this was much more exciting in person, and I can see why you
went looking for additional information.
