(meteorobs) Overwhelming email!
Sorry if the mail is overwhelming, Warren. By the way, not sure what you
mean by "chat"? The purpose of the 'meteorobs' list is to provide a forum
for discussing meteor observing... It is not just for formal news releases
or organizational summaries: that would be the IMO-NEWS list (run by and
for the International Meteor Organization - see their Web site).
Still, as you may have already gathered, you happened to subscribe within a
few days of the peak for one of the 3 or 4 most important meteor showers of
the year! Wait a few days, and the "chat" on the list should die down. If
it's still too much then, please do write back to me PERSONALLY - or see my
post from last week on how to subscribe to 'meteorobs-digest'.
