Hello Marco (and everyone else) --

The good news on Sunday night was that we were blessed with perfectly clear
skies.  The bad news was that temperatures fell to about 18F/0C with a
northwest wind at 30 mph/46 km/hr. 

Sorry folks. . . I didn't go out.  Were it the Leonids with the prospects of
enhanced activity. . . or a Geminid night with no Moon, I would probably have
stuck it out. But with a 98% illuminated Moon in Orions club and the weather
service close to issuing a "brass monkey advisory"  I decided to wait until
next year for a crack at the Gems.
