Rain is falling in Southern California this evening and the prospect for
clearing before morning is slim. Regardless, I will keep track of the
sky conditions and observe should the sky clear sufficiently. I had
planned to travel to the Descanso Observatory for darker skies but it
takes longer for the mountain areas to clear. Therefore I stay put and
hope for the best.
