(meteorobs) Ursids and windsurfers in South Carolina
No good news to report.
After taking a short nap this morning, I woke up to clearing skies and even
warmer temperatures. Went on in to work, where by this afternoon, it seemed a
front was moving through the area bringing clouds (again) and cooler temps. Of
course, at this time, a windsurfer had decided to break his sail's mast off the
coast. Being slowly pulled out to sea on his way to the other side of the
Atlantic, he expressed his happiness at seeing a cloud-watching meteor
observer.
The windsurfer was rescued, but not the night for observing......
