Thanks for your concern in forwarding this to the list, Wayne A.

But I have to ask a question: is this report independently verified by any
of the Security Advisory groups? Is there any explanation in the reports
you've read, of the mechanism by which reading an email can erase someone's
hard drive? Also, was there any indication of what platforms can be
affected by this virus? PCs? Macs? Unix machines?

Lacking this information, I'd probably caution people NOT to distribute
this email to "everyone in your address books" - or to anyone, in fact.
