I was playing cards with family members last night and just happened to
be in the chair that faced our northern window. The blinds just happened
to be opened and I caught sight of a bright blue-green fireball falling
toward the horizon. It lasted 2 seconds, just enough time to shout "wow"
and startle my wife and son. It occurred at 9:51 local time (5:51 UT)
and the estimated magnitude was just a shade brighter than Venus,
perhaps a -5.
