I have not heard any other evidence. According to literature and the Museum of
Nat. History itself where the meteorite is currently - it was found in 1902
half buried in Oregon. The absence of a crater incicated that natural forces
moved the meteorite to its Oregon site. BTW it is the largest meteorite ever
found in the US.
