After a long day behind my PC writing the last chapter of my M.A. thesis,
I switched the damned thing off at 10 p.m. local time and discovered that
it was clear outside. So I decided to take some time to relax watching
meteors under a clear sky untill moonrise near 0:30 local time. And so I
did. The sky was reasonable, altough not perfect with perhaps a slight
touch of haze (especially the last hour). Nice activity. The night was
quite silent, and quit warm for the time of the year. very pleasant.
below my data. This was my 7th night this year, bringing my tally to 155
meteors in 13.25 hours effective. The 150th meteor was a +4 virginid
trailing just under M44.
