It seems that they took the same one

- Gerry Griffin, science consultant to "Deep Impact." Griffin was former
director of NASA's Lyndon B. Johnson Space Center in Houston. He also
served as a Flight Director during the Apollo 13 mission. Griffin previously
consulted on the making of the films "Apollo 13" and  "Contact."
