I agree. In the early 1980s I saw a slow disk shaped blue-green fireball
that looked like a flying sauser. It was oval and about 1/2 the Moon's
diameter. It was close enough to leave a sonic boom, but I didn't look
for any meteorites because it was heading for the Atlantic Ocean.
