(meteorobs) UFO does not equal ET
Dear Nico and Friends,
I agree with all the responses from this forum concerning UFO's Part I,
especially the one's from Anton and Terry. It's nice for once to be talking
with people that have a deeper understanding on these issues. Here's a little
twist on the UFO = ET topic that continually remains a pet-peeve (sp?) of
mine.
I have always wondered why the term "UFO", unidentified flying object,
automatically refers to extra-terrestrial beings. Most people will say
something like - "Do you believe in UFO's?" when they really mean, "Do you
believe in extra-terrestrial life?" My answer is "of course I believe in
UFO's, in fact.. just last night some neighborhood kids threw a UFO right
through my garage-door window and I STILL don't know what it was that broke
that glass. I wish my computer had the capability to print the mathematical
symbol that means 'does not equal', you guys all know what I mean. If I had
that ability, I'd make bumper-stickers that said;
UFO does not equal ET. Maybe the members of this forum could help squash
that misnomer.
