Michael, Although the Lyrid meteor shower is just becoming active I doubt very much if it caused the increase in rates seen in your data. The normal activity for the Lyrids is very low away from the night of maximum activity (April 22), perhaps 1 or 2 per hour at best. Clear Skies, Bob Lunsford
